This beaded turquoise blue magnesite necklace measures approximately 18 inches long. It is made of 8mm blue magnesite beads and a variety of pewter spacers. In the center is a puffed turquoise blue magnesite teardrop, which measures just over one inch long by 0.75 inches wide.

In nature, magnesite is usually white. This stone is often dyed a variety of colors, and it is especially dyed to simulate turquoise. Though it is not as expensive as turquoise, magnesite has its own place in jewelry. This stone is said to be calming and balancing. It allows us to accept others and ourselves more readily.
