These are pewter star earrings with a moon and star pattern. The star charms measure approximately 0.75 inches, and the earrings hang approximately 1.5 inches long from the top of the surgical steel ear wires.

Pewter is a soft metal alloy mainly comprised of tin, with copper, antimony, and other elements added for strength. Usually, pewter contains 85-99% tin. It may sometimes contain trace amounts of lead, and therefore, it is not suitable for children. Pewter is usually a silver or antiqued silver color, and it does not oxidize or tarnish easily.
