These are small pewter dolphin charms on surgical steel French hooks. They measure approximately 16mm long, from nose to tail by 12mm at the widest point, from nose to fin, or approximately 0.63 inches long, from nose to tail by 0.47 inches at the widest point, from nose to fin. The earrings hang approximately 1.25 inches long from the top of the ear wire.

Pewter is a soft metal alloy mainly comprised of tin, with copper, antimony, and other elements added for strength. Usually, pewter contains 85-99% tin. These dolphins have a higher zinc content, as much of the pewter sold today has a higher zinc content than traditional pewter. Pewter may sometimes contain trace amounts of lead, and therefore, it is not suitable for children.
