This handcrafted magnesite necklace measures approximately 21 inches long. It is made of 6mm blue/green magnesite beads and a variety of pewter spacers. The highlight of this unique handmade magnesite necklace is the oval magnesite pendant with pewter bead caps at the top and bottom. The magnesite and pewter focal measures approximately 2.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide.

In nature, magnesite is usually white. This stone is often dyed a variety of colors, and it is especially dyed to simulate turquoise. Though it is not as expensive as turquoise, magnesite has its own place in jewelry. This stone is said to be calming and balancing. It allows us to accept others and ourselves more readily.
