These are pewter dragonfly earrings hanging from surgical steel French hooks. The dragonfly beads measure approximately 24mm long by 20mm wide, or approximately 0.94 inches long by 0.79 inches wide. The earrings hang approximately 1.5 inches down from the top of the ear wire.

Pewter is a soft metal alloy mainly comprised of tin, with copper, antimony, and other elements added for strength. Usually, pewter contains 85-99% tin. It may sometimes contain trace amounts of lead, and therefore, it is not suitable for children. Pewter is usually a silver or antiqued silver color, and it does not oxidize or tarnish easily.
