This beaded sea opal necklace measures approximately 18 inches long. It is made of a variety of sea opal beads and spacers. The larger sea opal accents are separated by 4mm faceted sea opal round beads. The highlight of the necklace is the variety of faceted sea opal drops in the center, forming a collar, and giving the necklace a unique texture.

Also known as opalite, sea opal is a translucent milky- colored glass with blue flashes. It gets its name because of the opal-like luminescence. Some say that the glowing color of sea opal resembles the color of the full moon.
